The Manufacturing Alliance, Lake County Workforce Development and the McHenry County Workforce Network are partnering to offer employers an opportunity to recruit apprentices.
To participate, employers must offer a work, earn and learn model that includes mentoring, related training and planned wage increases. However, openings do not need to be part of a registered apprenticeship program to qualify.
Please note that veterans will receive early access to this event. All employer setup must be completed by 10:30 a.m.
This event is by invitation only. If you are viewing this registration page and are unsure whether your opportunities qualify, please contact Sara Espeland at sespeland@lakecountyil.gov.
Imagine getting paid to learn a skilled trade from the pros — that's exactly what an apprenticeship is. You earn a real paycheck from day one while gaining hands-on experience and credentials that can launch a career for life.
Join employers on May 27 at the Advanced Technology Center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Veterans receive early access starting at 10:30 a.m.
